It's My Self

Hello Everybody.. I’m university student at State University.of Yogyakarta. I have study about mathematics education. There are some subject matters that I have to learn such as geometry, trigonometry, calculus, algebra, and history of mathematics. At this time, I want to tell you my study experience in history of mathematics. i think history is an easy lesson but actually, it is not a simple as I thought. It needs an extra patient, step by step, and the most important is willingness to read more and more the contains of the topic we want to understand. Study of history, especially history of mathematics in my faculty is very interesting, fun and different with the other class lesson. I like to study about it, history makes us become a wiser man likes the philosopher has said that “Historie Vitae Magistrae”. It means, by learnt history, we earn to learn from former mistakes. With that mistakes ,we can get the truth. Because of that, we have to do something better than before. By learnt the history of mathematics, now, I know about the mathematicians and what they had been invented. For the example are how the phytagoras theorem was exist, who invented the syllogism, logical, square root of two, and the other interesting history.

Nowadays, the modern technology have been developed rately. So, it’s not difficult to learn history of mathematics, we can search some informations or data that we need by browsing in the internet or find them in encyclopedic.

So, I just give the conclusion that never give up to do something, don’t be afraid to try a new challenges and always work and study hard to reach our goal. Because if we want something to be true, the whole of nature will help us to make it really become true. Keep spirit and let’s have fun with history of mathematics.
